Growing in Faith Through Study

Bible Study and More

The foundation of our faith is Jesus Christ. Scripture readings are an important part of our worship services, daily devotionals, and education as we come to know Him.

If you do not have access to a Bible, please visit Blue Letter Bible which not only has a search feature, but also allows you to access the Biblical translation of your choice. Another Bible site: The Bible Gateway Online Searchable Bible, New International Version.

You may also wish to visit The Lectionary Page: A Liturgical Calendar for the upcoming Weeks with links to the lessons.

Prayer at Grace Church
line

Prayer is the power of our faith. Without it we are so much straw in the wind. We, of course, have formal prayers at each of our services but that can all too often be perfunctory. So in addition, we have a prayer chain for those urgent requests and we have a prayer group that meets at 1:30 pm each Wednesday in the Library. Twice a month we have healing prayers with the laying on of hands by parishioners and anointing with oil immediately following the last service. Most important of all are the prayer warriors in our midst who are on their knees each day in the privacy of their daily lives. God bless us one and all in these efforts.
